Contribute to Ethical Leadership

You’ve reached out as a concerned citizen. That is why I ran for office, because I cared. For many years, I’ve donated to candidates’ campaigns, canvased and yard signed for them.

Staying informed and taking action is not easy.

Now, as an elected representative myself, I am experiencing first hand the expenses of outreach, connecting w decision makers, media, constituents, and other tasks that continue long after campaign season is over.

There is a reason that elected representatives are referred to as “public servants”. If done properly, in a representative democracy, publicly elected officials do not make the kind of money they would in the private sector. Not even close. This opens the door to corruption or, in the least, using public office as a stepping stone to real estate and other business aspirations.

Public servants need ongoing financial support year round, not just during campaign season.

No matter why you may have accessed this DONATIONS page, when it comes to protecting public health and safety, vigilance against overbuilding & over-asphalting in our region and for many other concerns,, may I suggest:

  1. Read what Ellen and others are actively working on in within Ellen’s Topics page.

  2. Sign up on Ellen’s Home Page for upcoming news blasts.

  3. Donate to help cover Ellen’s ongoing civic efforts. We need to keep politicians in office who put residents first.
